God answers Grandma’s Prayers:
Mina* lives on the outskirts of a large city, her children live in other places and her husband has passed away. When she first heard about the Lord Jesus two years ago from a friend, she accepted Him as her Lord and Savior.
She was often lonely, but since she accepted Jesus as Lord, her loneliness has changed. Not only because she knows He is with her, but also because her heart is filled with love for the children around. And the kids know her. They call her ‘grandma’ because she often sits outside, chats with them and certainly shares something nice with them. Now that it’s 3 months of vacation and the mothers often send the children out into the street to have some peace and quiet at home, Mina has even more time with the children. During the distribution of the Children’s Bibles in the house church, Mina was first skipped: she no longer had any children in the house. But Mina had prayed and asked God for an opportunity to tell the children about Him. The Children’s Bibles came at the right time! She also had to have 1 or 2 for the children. Mina herself can’t read very well, but the children help her and so they learn together from the pictures and the stories about Jesus. Careful, yes, but the parents don’t even ask what the kids are doing, they’ve long been happy to have something to do! And that is a wonderful opportunity for Mina.
