One Hope Night of Prayer and Worship

One Hope Night of Prayer and Worship

Each Fall, churches in the Coachella Valley come together for a weekend of worship, prayer, and encouragement for the persecuted Church. It is called One Hope Night of Worship and Prayer, and it creates a space where believers can gather, learn, listen, and act together as one body.
The weekend begins with a seminar focused on the realities of persecution, both globally and close to home. Many who attend leave with a deeper understanding of the pressures believers face in closed countries, and a renewed confidence to stand strong in their own faith.
On November 2nd, the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, the One Hope event focused on raising support for printed and audio Bibles for distribution in Asia. A speaker from the field shared stories and updates from persecuted communities around the world. This year, the offering focused on printed and audio Bibles for Asia. The response was generous, and many believers who have never held a Bible of their own will soon receive one.

We are very thankful to the leadership that organizes and hosts The One Hope night of prayer, and we so appreciate their hearts and passion to bring God’s Word to those who cannot speak for themselves.

If your church is willing to host a similar event, Frontlines International will be glad to provide materials and help coordinate speakers from the field to share insights of what it is like to live with strong faith in the midst of persecution.
